On 16th May 2014, when nation woke to a new era, a new dawn, a new India was displayed on tv screens. After 3 long decades India break it's deep slumber and voted a full majority government.
The head of government, preferred to call him self "pradhan sewak" and custodian to fulfill dreams of 1.25 billion strong humanity.
The early days were wobbly, some bold some not so confident , some gaffes, some avoidable. The journey didn't started on very promising note.
It take time for one to understand, serpentine maze called lutyens delhi. One step at a time, testing water then one more step. One wrong step can be fatal can be suicidal.
Cries outside north and south blocks were getting cacophonous, where are big bang reforms, what this government wants to do with opening bank accounts of poor, are they nuts.
Poor of india don't need bank account they need rights - for education, for health, for food, for this for that.
When this government will release cheque of promised 15L, crescendo was deafening, noises were shriller, suggestions were mediocre to outrageous.
Pradhan Sewak was unperturbed, his baby steps were transforming into marathon steps transforming into sprinters.
He was busy doing "veuh rachna", he was preparing grounds for giant leaps.
On 9/11 he addressed the nature in very academic way, he laid the foundation, put forth the problems and reminded 1.25b humanity, about promises he was asked to fulfill.
In one stroke, he sledgehammered on unholy cartel of black money, fake currency, terror funding and hawala business.
He declared 500 and 1000 rs notes will be illegal at stroke of midnight.
He did a very hard reset of unaccounted currency in circulation competing with accounted economy.
He delivered after requesting innumerable times through his speeches and "man kee baat", but through decades crook's have amalgated very thick layer of cynicism.
They never believed in his appeal, his friendly nudge, his elderly advise and just took him for GRANTED.
A nation has got a Pradhan Sewak, who has mind of his own.
He is halfway through his tenure.
He now has firm grip on skills to navigate through serpentine lutyens.
In coming days, the people who have illegal and I'll gotten wealth will repent 30th September 2016, last day their looted booty would have turned rightful.
Nations get strong when rulers and ruled rise in tandem to offer sacrifices, Pradhan Sewak has put his political career on sacrificial altar, it's our turned now to infuse new life of hope into his belief from 1.25b of us, known as Indians, that we will bear any inconvenience to realize India of our dreams.
